One of my favorite past times during the holidays is finding amazing Christmas decorations and several years ago I landed on the mother load!
The Charlie Brown Christmas House is located on the corner of Wilson St. and Santa Ana Ave. in Costa Mesa - don't worry you can't miss it! The holiday spirit shines for blocks...
What I like the most about this house is that the decorations are not the flashiest or fanciest, but rather nostalgic and fun. The house is completely covered, so much that when the decorations are taken down I honestly couldn't recognize it. The cardboard cutouts are all arranged in different scenes and the peanuts are all there. They are ice skating, flying, playing the piano - doing what the gang does best!
The holiday decor is not the only reason to come...you never know who you may meet! Not a year has gone by that I haven't seen both Snoopy and Santa roaming around the property. Also, on select weekends the host family graciously gives out hot cocoa, apple cider and candy canes for all who come to join them for the holidays!
This house isn't just another drive by, it is a community event that needs to be seen with your own eyes.
